As you've probably realized by now, my name is Samantha Crotty. I am a recent graduate of Western Carolina University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Communication with a concentration in Print Media, and a minor in Art.
If you click on the 'Resume' tab above you will notice that I have worked numerous jobs/internships in the print journalism industry, as well as several online media positions. Writing has always been my passion. Hence the reason I majored in Communication in college.
Since graduating I have been on the verge of finding a job in the journalism field. It's been a tough market, but I know it is only a matter of time until the ideal position becomes available. Until then, I have been working part-time here in Atlanta, Georgia in a retail position, while still writing on the side.
